PURPOSE:

This course has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to use electronic testing apparatus to test the working atmosphere to ensure it is safe for the planned work to proceed. The course is based on the National Unit of Competency: MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmospheres.

This comprehensive half-day first aid course can be completed at our purpose-built training facility in Perth.

WHAT DOES THE GAS TEST ATMOSPHERES TRAINING COURSE INCLUDE?

On completion of the course, participants will have the skills required to test and confirm the safety of a work atmosphere. The course content includes the following:

  • Prepare for gas testing
  • Test gas
  • Maintain equipment

PREREQUISITES & COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Participants on this course should have basic English Language and literacy skills. A photo ID (passport or drivers licence) must be shown.

CERTIFICATION:

On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a KI Training and Assessing Certificate/Statement of Attainment. This course is a Nationally Accredited Course.
