Supervise Asbestos Removal Course (For the Telecommunication Industry)
This course has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to supervise the removal process for friable and non-friable asbestos-containing material (ACM). The course is specifically for those currently working in the Telecommunication Industry. The course is based on the National Unit of Competency: CPCCBC4051A – Supervise Asbestos Removal (For the Telecommunication Industry).
This comprehensive two-day course can be completed at our purpose-built training facility in Perth.
This course has been designed through close collaboration with NBN, Fulton Hogan and Comcare. The aim is to ensure that successful participants understand, and can carry out, all the specific safety and practical requirements of people working in the Telecommunications field who carry out asbestos pit removals.
This course has a relative asbestos removal course.
WHAT DOES THE SUPERVISE ASBESTOS REMOVAL COURSE (FOR THE TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY) INCLUDE?
On completion of the course, participants will have the skills required to supervise the removal of non-friable asbestos-containing material (ACM). The course content includes the following elements:
- Plan for asbestos removal
- Prepare the site for removal
- Supervise testing, compliance and documentation in consultation with the licensed asbestos assessor and the asbestos removalist
- Oversee removal and decontamination processes
- Supervise and support team members
PREREQUISITES & COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Participants on this course must be at least 18 years of age and should have basic English Language and literacy skills. The course is only for those working in the Telecommunication industry with a current Whitecard. A photo ID (passport or drivers licence) must be shown.
On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a KI Training and Assessing Certificate/Statement of Attainment. This course is a Nationally Accredited Course.
