This course has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to safely prepare, contain and remove non-friable ACM, plus knowledge of decontamination and disposal requirements. The course is based on the National Unit of Competency: CPCCDE3014 – Remove Non-Friable Asbestos

This comprehensive one-day course can be completed at our purpose-built training facility in Perth.

This course has a relative asbestos removal course.

WHAT DOES THE REMOVE ASBESTOS TRAINING INCLUDE?

On completion of the course, participants will have the skills required to remove non-friable asbestos-containing material (ACM). The course content includes the following elements:

  • Prepare for asbestos removal.
  • Prepare asbestos removal site.
  • Set up asbestos work area.
  • Remove non-friable asbestos.
  • Carry out decontamination process.
  • Clean up the work area.
  • Complete regulatory processes

PREREQUISITES & COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Participants on this course must be at least 16 years of age and should have basic English Language and literacy skills.

Participants must hold the unit CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card).

The course is for those working in the Telecommunication industry. A photo ID (passport or drivers licence) must be shown.

CERTIFICATION:

On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a KI Training and Assessing Statement of Attainment. This course is a Nationally Accredited Course.
